How do I connect it to the internet?

The first step is to download the free 'Grillo+' mobile app for either Android or iOS. Then you connect your Grillo IoT to a power supply and turn on with the power button. Once it has started up, press the button that says 'Wifi'. Follow the instructions and when it says 'Ready to connect', open your mobile app, enter your wifi password, and press connect !

Does Grillo IoT work with my router?

Grillo IoT only works with 2.4GHz wifi networks. Almost all new routers have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi networks, so you can choose to connect to the 2.4GHz network. Some users have had trouble connecting Grillo IoT with routers that combine both 5GHz and 2.4GHz into a single network, such as the Apple Airport Extreme router. If you have a router such as this, please try and configure it to provide separate wifi networks.

What happens if the electricity goes out?

Power shortages usually occur after an earthquake has arrived. Grillo will alert you before, when the electricity should be normally on. Grillo has a small battery in case of a short power outage, but you should always have it connected to a wall outlet using the USB cable supplied and a USB wall adapter (not included).

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

We use DHL for all our shipping in Mexico as its fast and low-cost.

Do You Ship Internationally?

No. Currently we are only selling to Mexico. This will change soon !

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

Once we have your items in stock, it will typically take 1-3 days for Mexico City, and 2-5 days for anywhere else in Mexico.

PAYMENT

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We allow all Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards here. We use Stripe (https://stripe.com/en-mx) to process your payments quickly and efficiently. If you prefer to pay in cash, or using your card in person, you can select Oxxo Pay instead. This will generate a reference number that you can take to any Oxxo store and make the payment there.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

Good question. Last year, purchases online in Mexico grew by 28.3% due to better e-commerce systems and more internet users. Grillo uses the Stripe to manage card payments which is considered one of the most secure systems available in the world. Stripe handles the payments and refunds so we never actually see your card details. Grillo also uses Oxxo Pay as its a trusted store and you can get a physical receipt.

How do I place an Order?

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

Once your order is placed, unfortunately it is not usually possible to cancel or change the order. However if you definitely need to cancel it, please write to us immediately at soporte@grillo.io, and if we haven't started processing your order we may be able to cancel it.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Nope. You can buy your product here as a guest without signing in. However, if you create an account you will be able to track your order and see its status.

How Can I Return a Product?

Thanks for purchasing our products at https://grillo.io/ operated by Grillo Sistemas SAPI. In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 15 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way. After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
